Working within the Pop art aesthetic Dan’s painting explores the degradation and gradual abstraction of an image when repeatedly painted. The artist’s choice of subject matter and use of shadow combine to make works which are both equally striking and thought provoking.

‘Attack & Decay’ runs until June 30th in our new additional gallery space. To book a viewing please e-mail us

Geometric Light Fixture

We love the geometric form of this suspension light!  Made from chromed sheet steel the design is very much in the style of Max Sauze, a French designer who was renowned for using this material to create spectacular lighting in geometric shapes. The fixture appears different depending on the angle viewed and is truly an illuminated form of sculpture!

Fredrik Kayser Lounge Chair

We have just restored this beautiful solid teak lounge chair by Fredrik Kayser (Norwegian 1924-1968)

Born in Bergen and educated at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry. He was especially known for elegant and sculptural designed chairs.  We think the newly upholstered cushions in a teal Scottish tweed wool contrast very effectively with the sculptural teak form.
